President’s Report/Comments
The president received an email from McGregor Super Neighborhood #83, inviting us to attend a community meeting on Thursday, May 28 at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at Good Hope Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall. Topics for discussion include:
- H.I.S.D plans for the community
- Police to discuss security, cars and homes that have been
broken into. - Councilman Boykin’s will discuss community concerns.
- Paula Harris will be in attendance along with persons who
are known to be running for school board positions in our
community.
Everyone is invited to attend and ask questions of our elected
officials.
The President stated that a letter was sent to the Stones offering an amicable solution to the property problem. The Stones stated that in January 2015 these issues were addressed and does not understand why the issue continues. The issue still remains a problem regarding the movement of the fence and bringing it to an amicable agreement to uphold the conveyance of Timbercrest. Mrs. Loeb stated that both parties were to agree and sign an agreement. The President desires to meet with the Stones to further discuss the matter in an effort to bring this matter to a close. The President read a letter directed to Mr. Doyle regarding the Stones plan to complete the construction at 3437 Binz, from beginning date to ending date.
