Following the recent election that concluded on September 30th, our Board of Directors has been officially established. We are now able to move forward with various improvements and enhancements for our neighborhood.
Here’s what you can expect:
1. Improved Access and Transparency: We have purchased the domain “TimbercrestHOA.org” and are currently exploring website options. Stay tuned for more information, which will be presented at our upcoming members meeting on December 7th.
2. Updated Bylaws: We are reviewing the Timbercrest bylaws to ensure they align with current Texas code and provide clear guidelines for conducting our association’s business. There are also items we need to discuss with you, see page 4.
3. Enhancing Security: Addressing ongoing security concerns within our community is a top priority. We are working diligently to implement effective solutions to keep our neighborhood safe.
4. Beautiful Entrances and Informative Signage: We have plans for enhancing the signage at our neighborhood entrances, as well as providing clear signage for community meetings.
To support and fund these important endeavors, we kindly request your cooperation in paying the annual dues for 2023. The dues have been set at $100 per lot. Please ensure that you list all the addresses you are paying for on a separate sheet or in the memo of your check.
We understand that transparency regarding our finances has been lacking in recent years. Rest assured, we are actively working on resolving this issue and will provide a comprehensive financial report during our meeting on December 7th.
While we are in the process of implementing online payment systems for future dues, for this year, we kindly ask that you remit your payment via check to the Timbercrest Homeowners Association at PO Box 88008 Houston, TX 77288-0008.
The Board has decided to increase the annual assessment to $250.00 – due January 1, 2024 – the maximum annual assessment. Section 7.3 in our Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions (DCCR) section 7.3, permits the Board to take such action without a vote of the membership.
This action is being taken to bring Timbercrest financial house in order and to pay for critical initiatives that are noted in ur newsletter.

I was present at the December 7, 2023 HOA meeting at the library. We received an agenda. The were finances were discussed briefly but we didn’t receive any financial reports.
